Showcase Humidor Instructions
Features
* Humidity set point controller.
* In case of power failure unit still humidifies.
* Continuos air circulation and venting.
* No moving parts/Maintenance free.
* Allows cigars to remain in manufacturers boxes which reduces the mixing of tobacco flavors.
* Interior display lighting, summer/winter control.
Setup
Refer to the following diagrams for the location of items discussed in the setup procedure.

Inside Back panel
* Carefully unwrap all parts and remove any packaging material.
* Insert the pan into the humidor and connect the connector in the back right corner. Do not force the connector, it is keyed to prevent incorrect connection. If the connector does not easily fit try reversing the connection.
* Insert the shelf by raising the back (large lip) up toward the back top of the enclosure and the slide it down to position it on the shelf supports.
* Locate the humidor where it will be used before filling the pan with water. The pan is designed to resist spilling due to vibrations or small movements however the humidor should not be moved while the pan is full of water.
* Fill the pan with water to about 1/4" below the top lip. Check that the float in the back corner of the pan is free to float up and down with the water level.
* Plug in the power cord.
* Turn on the power switch.
* Set the desired humidity level on the HUMICON controller.
Operation
Refer to the Figures in the setup procedure for location of interior components.
* Always turn off the power when adding water or removing the water pan for cleaning. The on/off switch is located on the back panel, lower right corner.
* When water is needed an indicator light inside the humidor will light. Also if the interior lights are on they will be turned off.
In most operating conditions the humidor will function properly as setup in the setup procedure. However there are some options which maybe used to optimize its operation.
1. The humidor is shipped with six plugs which fit the vent holes. These plugs have been inserted to reduce the consumption of water. However if the interior lights are used for extended periods of time the temperature of the box may increase if the plugs are not removed.
2. When operating in very humid ambient conditions it may be necessary to deliberately increase the ventilation . This can be accomplished by leaving the interior lights on at all times. If the humidity is still too high remove plugs.
Recommendations
* The recommended humidity level is 75% RH but it maybe set to whatever is individually preferred. Bear in mind humidity fluctuations will occur depending on ambient conditions. If fluctuation are noticed leave at set point. The unit will balance itself.
* If possible use distilled water. This will greatly decrease the frequency that the water pan will require cleaning.
* When storing a large number of boxes rotate their positions about once a month.
* If your humidor has Acrylic Plastic doors do not use Ammonia based cleansers such as Windex. Be sure touse a cleaner which is recommended for Acrylic Plastic or plain warm water.
Trouble Shooting
Low water indicator is on even though there is water in the pan.
1. It is possible when first filling a dry pan that the float will stick in the bottom position. Lift the float off the bottom surface which will allow it to move upward. Once the float is unstuck it will function properly.
2. Check the water level. The low water indicator will illuminate and automatic humidification will stop when only a 1/4" of water remains in the pan.
Humidor will not operate
1. Check that the power switch in the ON position. This is indicated by a "1" on the switch. The OFF position is indicated by a "0"
2. Check the fuses. The fuses may be accessed by removing the plate between the power switch and the power connector. Be sure the unit is unplugged before checking the fuses. Note: there are two fuses side by side. Both must be in place and working for the humidor to operate.
3. Check the light switch and make sure it is turned on. Verify that there is sufficient water for operation by checking the Low
